CHANGING LIVES,
ONE RIDER AT A TIME

Thank you, for taking time to come back to Grand Prairie. During the past two years, riding in two clinics, I have gained a wealth of knowledge, and look forward to future opportunities to ride with you and Cheryl. Thank you for your patience in helping me to break old habits and create new ones. You say in your closing, it is an honor to work with us, and I say, it is an honor to be in the presence of great and influential horse people.

– Lauralee Mather, Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada

Thank you Sharon and Donna for a great weekend! The facility at Black Hawk College is fantastic. I don't even know how to put in words how wonderful your training has been. I arrived at the Clinic ready to sell my gelding; I was just sure I could not ride this horse. Many of his issues stem from the way I have been feeding him. He was under weight by at least 150 lbs. according to my vet. He has never been a problem horse. I believe the two of you have given me tools to meet the challenge. My second horse, Sassy, and I just seem to get better every time I attend one of your Clinics. Both you and Donna are great teachers and have the ability to share your knowledge of horses with others. I highly recommend this Clinic to everyone. Keep up the great work.

– Terri Wilson, Greenfield, Indiana

I just wanted to thank you and Cheryl so much for the Clinic you held recently at C and S Arena in Bethany Connecticut. It was an excellent start for the beginning of the season. As you will remember, I came to the program with a dangerous gate issue. I was to the point that I had to get off my horse and lead him into the arena. The issue was developing into such a problem that even the race producers hated to see me enter. You helped me score my horse and advised me to take off my spurs and tame my kicking. Today my horse Buzz and I calmly enter the arena before a race with no problem. My gate issues are history! I can’t thank you both enough and look forward to seeing you next year.

– Jennifer Knapik, Oxford, Connecticut

I went to one of your clinics and I learned so much! I have been reviewing everything you taught me and I have improved by time by a whole second. I have been running 15.5 and 15.3 second times and I am going to State with my Equestrian team to run barrels. I couldn't have done this without your help. Thank you so much!

– Rochelle Alexander, Corbett, Oregon

Thank you for letting me go to the Clinic this weekend. You were so nice to me and I learned so much about riding correctly and running the barrel pattern. I am going to practice all year what I learned and I hope I can come back next year and show you how much I have improved.

– Faith Ann Cassol, age 7, Klamath Falls, Oregon 2008 Clinic

This may seem a little out of place as I have never attended any of Sharon's barrel racing Clinics but I have known and admired her for over 20 years. In fact, I don't even barrel race, but having been involved in the rodeo business for 35 years as a western performer, I have always said when I grow up, I want to be Sharon Camarillo. Sharon, you are a true lady and such an inspiration and role model for all women young and old. You epitomize what a Western lady should be and you have carried yourself with dignity and class and for that I thank you for being one my greatest influences and motivations to keep doing what I do. I believe that our business needs more classy ladies like you and I try everyday to be more like you. God Bless You and may 2008 be a spectacular year!
