Clinic Highlights
June 6-8: Fundamentals and Horsemanship
The lilacs were blooming throughout the Bitterroot valley, South of Missoula, Montana. The streams were cresting with snow runoff and cowgirls representing three states and Canada were anxious to get their horses up and tuned for a fun and safe summer of competition.

Thank you too, to our Performance Team member, Diane Holmes-Purcelli, for gathering the students for the three-day Performance Horsemanship Clinic. Donna Irvin and I enjoyed the opportunity to look around the beautiful and historic area and do a little shipping and eating during our stay in Hamilton! We also enjoyed getting to see the new home and barn at Diane and Ernie Purcelli’ s Shooting Star Ranch in Darby, the home of Nevada Joe. Most rewarding was the opportunity to get to work with new and returning students representing a wide-range of barrel racing experience during the three-day workshop. Each student shared the common interest in tuning their skills and enhancing their horsemanship experience. We wish all our students great success for a rewarding season.
