One week of sunshine, the next snow! Thank heaven we prepared for cold weather. However, I can say that all had a wonderful weekend of learning, including Cheryl and me. I am always so humbled by the caliber of students I have the opportunity to work with throughout the country. I continue to say that I have always enjoyed working and competing in the Northwest.

Klamath Falls is one of the few programs we drive to, so once again it was delightful to have our team horses, Chili and Jewels, with us. Two new additions owned by Jim and Cheryl Price are Mack and Showem. Both will be featured in the 101 Tips for Better Barrel Racing we have diligently been working on. Watch for Mack’s escapades in Cheryl Price’s Training Outcomes. Mack will be the Guinea Pig that performs the drills and faces the common challenges we all experience on the road to successful competition.

Jenny and Tom Hull have been Clinic Sponsors for several years and always provide a first class learning environment. Daughter Jessica Hull is one of our Performance Horsemanship Team members and it was delightful to showcase her skills as she develops her newest prospect, Digger. Jenny has Fast Time Tack and was on hand to provide help in selecting effective equipment. Jenny can be contacted for information regarding equipment or clinics at (541) 479-6791. Jenny has scheduled her 2009 program for April 24-25 and 26-27, 2009. She reminded me that she is already half full so be sure to phone early if you plan to reserve a spot for one of the 2009 Clinics.
