WESTERN CLASSIC 2007 HIGHLIGHTS
representing our pirate theme
in the Grand Entry.
Our annual theme, this year, Pirates of The Classic, Running For The Treasure, provides us with inspiration for decorating and celebrating fun and fast times!
Our Western Grand Entry was a howl with some of the best and most creative costumes to date. I attribute Amy Slye, one of our Honorary Performance Team members for coming up with the theme concept. Three years ago, for Lucky 13, Amy adorned herself and her horse with green shamrocks. We all got a kick out of her creativity so the tradition was set.
The theme for 2008 is The Wizard of the Classic. We all look forward to creative costumes of both good and bad witches, scarecrows, tin men, lions, and of course, Dorothy.

My son Wade received a standing ovation at the Riders Reception and is always on hand to make every Camarillo event a special one. A special thanks goes to Wade from everyone involved with the Classic for his never-ending energy. Everyone who knows Wade wishes him well in his upcoming journey with the United States Navy.
